How ratings and publications work
What rating means
Only approved authors can rate articles — after editorial approval or invitation acceptance. Also, a confirmed email, account age of at least 24 hours, and no voting block are required. After revocation of author approval, previous ratings are retained, and your vote can be withdrawn.
The number next to the article indicates pluses and minuses. In 'Best' mode, the order is determined by the lower boundary of the Wilson interval: it considers the share of positive votes and uncertainty with a small number of ratings. In case of a tie, the number of pluses, the first publication date, and ID are considered. Author name, topic, author rating, and number of comments do not give the article bonuses.
'New' shows works by the first publication date. Editing does not make an old article new. The list updates approximately every five minutes; open continuation retains the previous order until the snapshot expires.
Where works appear
The Sandbox is separate from the main and main search. 'My feed' contains subscribed authors or topics considering your exclusions. Additional works in the main help notice new publications; in the personal feed, there are no foreign recommendations.
Editorial review is not a scientific certificate
Author access to independent publication means editorial trust. The project stage describes the state of development declared by the author. Neither these marks nor community votes automatically confirm the validity of results or device safety.
Before publication, ensure you are ready to make the information public. The conditions for public disclosure must be approved by the platform owner before its public launch.
